The long-term objective of the project is to contribute
towards achieving a sustainable connection between the higher
education and the requirements of the industry in the regions.
In addition, Digi-CHE-Asia aims to improve the quality of HEIs and
enhance their interface with labour market & society.

The Digi-CHE-Asia: Enhancing Digital Capacities in Higher Education for Asian Universities Project aims in advancing the skills of academic staff, students and researchers in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos (Partner Countries-PC), through:

  • The provision of suggestions for enhancing and improving current undergraduate curricula.
  • The development of a MSc Programme that integrated in a practical way the latest developments in Electronics, Automation and Robotics (EAR).
  • The interface with local industries, and more specifically the Manufacturing and High-Tech ones.

The long-term objective of the project is to contribute towards achieving a sustainable connection between the higher education and the requirements of the industry in the regions. In addition, Digi-CHE-Asia aims to improve the quality of HEIs and enhance their interface with labour market & society.

Work packages

The project has several work packages that aim to achievement of the proposed actions.

Consortium

The consortium consists of 9 organisations form 6 different countries: 3 EU countries (Greece, Luxembourg and Portugal) and 3 Asian countries (Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos).

All EU partners have great experience in implementing co-financed projects, bringing the consortium their expertise in curricula development, learning design, high-impact research and dissemination. 

The HEI form Partner Countries (PC-HEIs) come from 3 different countries in Asia in which EAR plays or is expected to play a key role in economic and social development. All PC-HEIs are specialised in these fields and/or have related Faculties.
